As a dedicated member of the community, a long term resident of Featherbrook, a former councillor and a Dad with kids that went to Alamanda, I am committed to making a real difference.
Funding for traffic lights at Point Cook and Sneydes Rd, The Sneydes Rd bridge, Traffic lights at Dunning and Lennon, Safe pedestrian access to the Williams Landing Station, better access to Healthcare, more Schools.
All things I have fought for, for our community.
My previous time in office has equipped me with valuable insights into the needs and concerns of our community. Having recently conducted a survey to gather feedback from Point Cook residents about council services, I am very aware of the issues that matter most to our community.
Public safety, roads, public transportation, local employment, and education access are among the top priorities of Point Cook.
I will prioritize these concerns and work tirelessly to address them in collaboration with the community and fellow council members.
The VEC asked a series of questions to candidates for publication on their site. Below is my Q&A.
What is your vision for the municipality of [Wyndham City] Council?
A city that is safe and welcoming, with roads and public transport that is functional, local job opportunities resulting in less commuting and more home time, and where education and healthcare are accessible. I aim to foster a thriving environment where residents’ voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
What expertise or attributes do you have which would help you in undertaking the role of Councillor?
I am a former councillor, have advocated for years for better roads, police resources, lights at Point Cook Road and Sneydes Road, more schools, more local jobs, and have lived in Point Cook for almost two decades. As a local, I am passionate about our suburbs future.
